What is your favorite
thing to do when not teaching?
Reading, quilting, and visiting my grandchildren
Why do you teach at
CedarWood?
I know the Holy Spirit is here, and I am called to be a part of this
ministry.
Why do you believe
in Christian education?
As Christians, our whole lives need to be Christ-centered. CWCA places
children in the center of His growing process for them. Confusion
follows divided homes and divided teachings. Our children deserve
wholeness and a firm foundation in Him.
What is the most humorous incident that happened to you while at
CedarWood?
While singing Father Abraham my heel got caught in the hem of my skirt
during my enthusiastic marching. As I brought down my heel, so went
down my skirt, much to my embarrassment! One of my kindergarteners
raced forward to rescue me and unhooked my heel. I will be forever
grateful to a little girl named Bami!
What is a time at
CedarWood that you know God intervened in a specific situation?
My husband and I knew a boy with cancer in Children's Hospital. I took
a hankerchief and asked the children to lay hands on it and pray that
God would heal this child. My husband and I took the hankie to the
hospital and prayed for him. His strength returned and he continued to
live several more months. To God be the glory for the prayers of our
children! |
