What is your favorite
thing to do when not teaching?
Hang out with my kids talking, cutting up, eating, and flipping
channels.
Why do you teach at
CedarWood?
I love to watch and help children achieve academically,
spiritually, and personally. Helping a young leader to recognize,
develop and use his or her talents and abilities is a wonderful and
exciting experience.
Why do you believe in
Christian education?
In Deuteronomy 4:9 it says, "Only be careful and watch yourselves
closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or
let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your
children and to their children after them."
What is the most humorous incident that happened to you while at
CedarWood?
When Flossie Richmond cooked some beans in the microwave, took them
out, and started walking towards her desk, tripped, and the beans went
down the front of my shirt and all over the wall behind my desk!
What is a time at
CedarWood that you know God intervened in a specific situation?
When Dain fell on the playground and the school prayed for him. He
had a baseball size lump on the back of his head but when the
ambulance driver wheeled him into the emergency room, he could not
explain to the doctors why the lump was gone and Dain suffered no
visible trauma.
